In the planning stages of creating the horror trailer, we decided that our villain was going to use a weapon. we researched different weapons and found the conventional weopens. The group decided that we should have an original weapon to challenge the conventions of horror and the weapons used.

Here is a list of conventional weapons:

A knife

A gun

A Machete

A chainsaw

A axe

The group realised that most of the conventional weapons were used to cut their victims. We didn't want our victims to be killed by this method so we decided to have a blunt weapon as our main choice.

we researched blunt weapons and discover that they were predictable, so we decide to search for a weapon that was unpredictable. we searched different sources and came up with our answer, a shovel. a shovel. when a shovel is associated with horror it is normally used for disposing (burying) of a body. We wanted to challenge this convention and decided that a shovel could be used for the main task (killing) and the second task (burying) 

my group believed that is the shovel is used as a weapon of choice for a killer it shows some skill in his killings. when compared to a knife or sword a shovel shows more skill as a knife and sword can easily kill a person but a shovel is not designed for that and because of this the killer using the shovel will have to think of new ways to kill with it.
